This is how.  She has another series revolving around her weight that just looks painful.

It sucks to see her going the Anna Nicole Smith route.   I wish her well with the weight-loss.  I’m working on that myself right now.  But I’d rather she stop making that her identity.  She’d be better off taking a dramatic part that doesn’t address her weight at all.  Just be a good actress and shed pounds as you can.

Scientologist William Rex Fowler Charged with Murder http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4276 http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4276#comments Sat, 06 Feb 2010 23:01:16 +0000 XENU TV http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4276

An OT8 first considered a victim of a crime was recently charged with shooting his former partner to death.   The Denver Post has the details.

A 58-year-old businessman and founder of an Adams County software company was arrested Friday on murder charges in a bizarre office shooting at the end of the year that left him injured and another man dead.

Adams County District Attorney Don Quick filed charges against William Rex Fowler in the shooting death of 42-year-old Thomas Ciancio, his former business partner at Fowler Software Design.

Investigators say Fowler shot Ciancio three times in the head with a 9mm Glock handgun when Ciancio came to Fowler Software Design to collect $9,900 in severance pay.
Police had originally thought Ciancio was the gunman but later described him as a victim.

Ciancio, who was Fowler Software’s chief operating officer, resigned Nov. 23 in a dispute over the way the company was being managed.

Employees of the software company told investigators Ciancio had blamed Fowler for the company’s recent financial difficulties.

The employees said Fowler had taken about $200,000 of the company’s money without asking and gave it to a church or charity, according to the arrest affidavit.

Ciancio arrived at 10 a.m. Dec. 30 to collect his check. He chatted with employees, asked about their holidays and was preparing to attend his son’s birthday party later that day.

Ciancio asked to speak to Ubaldo Ciminieri, the company’s vice president of sales and marketing, but he had stepped away from his desk. Ciancio then went to Fowler’s office.

Two minutes later, according to the affidavit, employees heard gunshots. Police were called by another tenant in the Elati Building, near West 84th Avenue and Elati Street in unincorporated Adams County.

The article goes on to explain the bizarre Scientology connections.

Investigators say the gun was registered to Alexander Hyung Fowler, 26, who lived at 1413 L. Ron Hubbard Way in Los Angeles when it was purchased. In interviews with police, Alexander Fowler said he gave the gun to his father for Christmas in 2007.

Police also found a briefcase and a typed note, dated Dec. 30 and signed by Fowler. The note said nothing confidential was in the satchel and that it should be given to his wife, Janet.
When Janet Fowler was interviewed by detectives, she demanded the briefcase.

“It is important to me and my church. It is religious material and I want it now,” she said to investigators. “Even if you looked at it, and read it, you would not understand anything in it. Because it is way above a normal person and you would not know what it meant. I want it back right now.”

Janet Fowler also reportedly told investigators that her husband “is a Scientologist and would not have gone without a fight. He would have grabbed a gun in a struggle and would not have let someone shoot him.”

She also told investigators that Ciancio had sent e-mails to Rex Fowler, threatening to hire an attorney and sue over money he said was owed him.

According to the arrest affidavit, Ciancio’s brother gave investigators four binders of Scientology materials that Fowler had given to Ciancio, asking him to study the religion.

Ciancio was raised a Roman Catholic, his family said, and had attended New Hope Presbyterian Church in Castle Rock.

Hello leaders of scientology. We are anonymous.

For the past two years you have been trying to stop us. You have sued, stalked, threatened and attacked us.
You have failed. For we are anonymous.

For the past two years you have been lying to the media and to the public, trying to discredit us through lies, misinformation and propaganda.
You have failed. For we speak the truth.

For the past two years, you have, quite desperately, tried to censor the internet.
You have failed. For knowledge is free.

Leaders of Scientology, we are anonymous.
We have won the battles. More and more of your own followers are leaving you, speaking out against you, and suing you. Governments all over the world are re-evaluating your cult’s tax exempt status. The German government is now trying to ban your organisation from the nation. In France, your cult has, once again, been convicted of fraud. Anonymous and traditional media all over the world, are still informing the public of this, as well as of the numerous violations of human rights you are responsible for. The true nature of your cults organisation is becoming common knowledge. Your chapters and orgs are no longer generating income. Your booksales have plummeted and you are no longer recruiting members at the rate needed for your organisation to work financially. And let’s face it. Your cult is all about the money.

Leaders of scientology. You will never be allowed to forget us, for we shall never forget you, your cult, or it’s atrocities against man kind. On the contrary we shall remember you.
First the world will come to know scientology, then the members of scientology will come to know the world. And finally, we shall all remember Scientology, as the morally corrupt, inhumane, dangerous and greedy cult that it has always been.

We will continue to win, until you are tired of fail…

Let us explain to you, leaders of Scientology, who you are fighting.
You are fighting the sum of the internet. The internet is the global network that extends from pier to pier, from home to home, from city to city, from country to country, from continent to continent and from present to future.

The data has been collected and inspected. The data has been spread and debated, consensus has been reached. The data has become knowledge. Knowledge, being the lightest of burdens is now effortlessly being spread.

You are fighting your neighbour and your politicians, you are fighting your children and your parents. You are fighting everyone, and no one. You are fighting anonymous. You are fighting the truth.

Ultimately, all your base, are belong to us – and the world shall remember you.

We are anonymous.
We are legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
Expect us.

Volunteer Ministers in Haiti http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4267 http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4267#comments Sat, 06 Feb 2010 21:51:04 +0000 XENU TV http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4267

I haven’t posted anything yet about Scientology’s trek into quake-ravaged Haiti.  The media has been covering their exploits quite a bit, especially after John Travolta started flying his jumbo jet into Haiti, stocked with doctors, food and supplies.  Let me just say that I think it’s great that large quantities of needed materials are getting to the area but Travolta is also bringing teams of Volunteer Ministers who are flooding Haiti with L. Ron Hubbard’s nuttiness.

I believe the Scientologists on the ground are genuine in their desire to help.   But corporate Scientology views a disaster such as this as a recruiting opportunity.   Not so much in converting the Haitians themselves but in the publicity that Scientology generates from these catastrophes.  I don’t know of any organization that pumps out the amount of PR releases about their “minister’s” good deeds.  It’s all about safepointing Scientology;  giving the corporation a positive face in order to spread Hubbard’s tech throughout society.

As we’ve seen in each of the disasters that Scientology has exploited such as 9/11 or the London bombings, their Volunteer Ministers spread out and do some good, distributing food and water and assisting in other tasks,  but also taking glee in chasing away real mental health experts and offering nonsensical touch assists and other Hubbard devised nuttiness.

Gawker has been covering a lot of Scientology’s escapades.   In one article they detail some of what the Volunteer Ministers are delivering.  In another article, someone who traveled on a Scientology chartered plane to Haiti gives a behind the scenes look at the action.

The doctors and EMTs in our party headed straight downtown to start working. The Scientologists had nowhere to go, and nowhere to put up the big yellow tent they’d brought for touch healing people in. They went to the UN, and managed to get on to their list of approved NGOs somehow. That meant they could set up in the UN grounds.

But they had no-one who spoke Creole, and they brought the weirdness of touch healing into a very superstitious society. They’d leave the tent and come into the general hospital downtown, and try healing people. One of the doctors and one of the nurses told me that the wounded started coming to them to tell them they didn’t want to be treated by the people in the yellow shirts.

One nurse told me that the Scientologists actually caused harm — they gave food to people who were scheduled to go into surgery. That then led to complications in the operating theater.

On the way back, the plane stopped in Miami and did not go on to New York, stranding all the doctors and EMTs and journalists who expected to get back. After much fighting, the Scientologist representative agreed to fly any of the EMTs that “absolutely couldn’t afford the ticket” on Jet Blue from Fort Lauderdale. I heard there were complications but had bought my own ticket because I was fed up with their weirdness.

In this video, the editor of Gawker is interviewed about their coverage.

If Gawker has been skeptical, the Today Show went the other direction, blowing Scientology a gentle little kiss and praising them for their efforts.

New German Movie About Scientology http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4262 http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4262#comments Sat, 06 Feb 2010 20:16:52 +0000 XENU TV http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4262

A public TV network in Germany has secretly filmed a TV movie about corporate Scientology and their destructive  disconnection policy.  Based on the true story of Heiner von Rönn, “Until Nothing is Left” is set to air on March 31st.  Spiegel Online has the full report.

Heiner von Rönn could reel off a sobering list of the people and things he has lost to Scientology. They include thousands of euros, 10 years of his life, his former wife, and both his children.

Fifteen years after leaving the organization, Rönn recently found himself confronted with his own past again, complete with all the terminology and threats from back then. He was on the set of a German TV production, where rooms in a Scientology office had been meticulously reconstructed. The TV drama, whose plot is inspired by real events in Rönn’s life, deals with a family that falls apart because of the organization, which in Germany is regarded as a business rather than a church and is monitored by domestic intelligence agencies.

Aaron Saxton on Harassment http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4257 http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4257#comments Sat, 06 Feb 2010 09:17:38 +0000 XENU TV http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4257 Aaron talks about the abuse Scientology has heaped upon him ever since he began speaking out about the corporation’s behavior.  Noisy investigations, leaked files from his confidential folders and lawsuits have all come his way ever since he helped Senator Xenophon take a stand against Scientology in Australia.

Aaron feels the media and the government have failed him and other critics who have been attacked by Scientology.  He says he is going silent, but I find that hard to believe.   While the major media may not cover every battle, the net does what they won’t do.  The truth will come out if Aaron and others continue to speak.

How to Spot a Cult http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4254 http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4254#comments Sat, 06 Feb 2010 08:39:03 +0000 XENU TV http://www.xenutv.com/blog/?p=4254 Inside New Zealand produced this look at the behavior of destructive groups such as corporate Scientology.

Inside New Zealand: How To Spot A Cult gives viewers an intimate view of what life is like inside groups that some former followers say are cults operating in New Zealand.

“These former members have consistent stories about how the different organisations actually work,” explains producer Gary Scott, “and the techniques they say were used to control them, even though the belief systems can be miles apart.”

“The modern rise of cult-like groups is not something experts can easily quantify, but there is a proven trend away from mainstream churches, towards other forms of spirituality. There has been a lot of talk about Destiny Church, since the covenant of 700 followers.”

The two-part documentary consists of ex-believers’ stories, and investigates the similarities they say exist between groups including the Exclusive Brethren, Scientology, Centrepoint, Gloriavale, Avatar and the International Church of Christ.

The documentary includes abuse survivors who have never spoken before, including the first ever interview with a young woman born into the controversial Centrepoint commune, the first of her generation to speak out.

How To Spot A Cult also features Ualesei Vaega, a New Zealand survivor from Waco, Texas, where an FBI seige ended with the death of 86 followers of David Koresh in a devastating fire.

“As you would expect, the effects of something like Waco are deeply traumatic,” Scott continues. “Ualesei Vaega’s story is even more powerful because he witnessed Koresh go down the path of collecting guns, having sex with young girls, and yet Ualesi came back to New Zealand even though people around him were too deeply brainwashed to make that key decision to leave.”

Ualesi Vaega lost his brother, sister in law and many good friends in the tragic fire.

As the documentaries show, a similar armed stand-off was only narrowly avoided in New Zealand at Camp David, a walled compound north of Christchurch.

“The scary things about Camp David,” says Scott, “is that when the police raided their weapons stockpile, the members were hidden and watching them arrive through rifle scopes. Many of those guys had military training. Even today, some say there is still a stockpile of weapons buried on the West Coast.”

How To Spot A Cult will reveal all this as well as the tactics cult-watchers and academics say should warn people that a group may want total control of their followers’ lives.
