Tory with Letter

Scientology claims they have 10 million members but they are including everyone who ever bought a Dianetics book or took an intro course and fled the Org as quickly as they could.

They even count declared SP’s like Tory Christman who just yesterday received a letter inviting her back to the Org to continue auditing.

    EPIC FAIL FOR SCILONS!

  2. Scientologist says:

In fact, 10 million includes 40.000 of our members and 9.960.000 of Body Thetans attached to us.

  3. Satan with a lisp says:

    Who’s “Troy”?

hey, to mark or anyone else — have you seen the movie “Over the GW” its a 2007 movie about a cult-like rehabilitation center that abuses, brainwashes and imprisons vulnerable teens. Every time i see or hear the word cult i think of Scientology. Anyway its a good movie and apparently based on a true story.

Once upon a time Mark, before you were born, they claimed “15,000,000 adherents worldwide” in print, consistently. They also claimed to be the world’s fastest growing religion. Looking back, this was completely absurd and the number was questioned even by staff members. One staff member, grasping at a straw, said the number reflected the people Scientology had helped. Today, it is obvious that it was an imposing number pulled out of the air.

I think the 10,000,000 number is the same. It doesn’t reflect anything but a desire for the Scientology p.r. division to make the cult look imposing. I have done no census. I have no special information from people on the inside. But the simplest explanation consistent with Real Hubbard Tech is that somebody lied.

Here is Canada they claimed 100,000 members in an article in the National newspaper the Globe and Mail. A month or two later they claimed 200,000 on a television appearance on Global Television (a large, unrelated broadcaster). The national census puts them at 1525 (I think that is the exact number). When you walk by the cult offices they look empty.

Last I checked there were 13 cult offices in Canada. When you do the math with 200,000 members it comes to over 15,000 people per cult office. You can’t fit 15,000 people into that little house in Halifax. You can’t even fit 15 at one time. You can’t fit 15,000 into the building in Toronto. You can probably fit several hundred people into the office, maybe a thousand or more in rotation. Still, I have never seen more than five people on the ground floor. Could they all be upstairs taking courses? I see far fewer people coming and going from there than I do from the leather shop down the street.

Toronto is the fourth largest city in North America. It is two hours from Buffalo, four hours from Detroit and six hours from Montreal. A friend counted heads at a recent highly publicized Scientology public event and got 250. This included babies and little kids. The Canadian census number seems far more sensible than the one they bat around. Where is embarrassment on the tone scale?

Los Angeles has the most Scientologists of any region. I’m not sure what the exact number is, but I would say maybe 200 or so attend the main org. More go to other orgs and missions in the county, since there are absolutely tons. However, many of them are now defunct, yet still appear in their list of Scientology buildings in the world, as well as Google Maps and such (Phone number and all).

The Pasadena Ideal Org was set to open in early 2009. They put out press releases about how the building attracted many new members and was filling up fast, but if you walk by it right now and peer through the window, it looks like an abandoned storage facility: Concrete floor (with water on it from leaky roof), walls either bare bricked or left with a wooden frame, pieces of wood leaning up against the walls, and one chair and a table. There is no sign indicating that it is a Scientology-related building, just an old sign out front indicating the name of the building, and an old painted sign on the side of the building that has been there for ages. They had all this time to restore a historical building in downtown Pasadena and they haven’t done anything to it. I think the City of Pasadena should end their lease for failure to make progress.

    Who is Troy Bezazian?

  9. Caliwog says:

Oh, and can I just add, this letter gives me great faith in the Scientology system of education. I can’t wait to send my kids to the Fresh Prince’s school so they can start writing things like “twords” and lower-case “i”.

  10. Who is Troy Bezazian? When I first left, we had a picket, in Clearwater, FL.
C of $ arrived with “Injunctions” saying about 15 of us would be arrested IF
we violated their “Injunction” re how we could picket, in Clearwater, FL. The name on it, for me, was Troy Bezazian.

    They said I had made 3 violations while Picketing: 1) I blocked a drive-way,
(Proven false by a video of a UPS truck driving by) 2) I blocked a doorway by sitting in their empty Red Santa’s Chair for 2 seconds for a photo (in front of tall bushes, In front of a door—thus they said I was blocking their door). 2 was laughed out of court by the Judge. 3) I was walking down the wrong side of the street with my picket sign. The “Criminal Conviction” was thrown out. I was charged $100 for #3. This was “Fair Game” in action. They had, by the way, 100 cameras on is in a 4 block area, as admitted in court.
Ta da. Hope that helps :) Tory/Magoo

  11. No reason to give out the ladys street. Too many cult wackjobs out there

  12. Artoo45 says:

Man, that is some kinda perky letter! Loopy printing and happy faces galore, not to mention the splendid spelling skills that one acquires from Hubbard’s Totally Excellent Spelling Tech (H/TEST). Where do I sign up for my Sooper Spelling Power Rundown (SSPR)?

WHy does that stuff always seem so forced coming from the cult?

  13. Rob Thomas says:

BMO achieved! Letters at random. Nice use of the tech. “Outflow equals inflow”. Except they don’t want the type of inflow us who have left have for them. Maybe we should do letters like that to each staff member saying: “Hi! did you know DM beats staff? That’s what you are supporting! Very Well Done!”

  14. Lop says:

Why is it I think I see “horns” on “Troy’s” head, here and on http://www.religiousfreedomwatch.org/? Not taking any sides here, just asking…

  15. XENU TV says:

Because when she left Scientology, the other members were told she was the devil. She’s making fun of that.

  16. Lop says:

That makes sense in it’s own way, I guess..

  17. ShaySpirit (yeah that's right!) says:

She was not being invited back to the org, the person who wrote the letter obviously did not know it was Tory, as did not even have the name right, I am sure it was from old CF records, etc. and nothing more…

  18. Christen Taylor says:

You know, Tory, we just can’t stop loving your money.

  19. acute says:

i am so afraid for our sisters and brothers in these cults especially scientology. for the past two days i have had a burden in my heart to make sure the whole knows about this horrible cult and save others from going in. if i can help in any way let me know. i live in new jersey.
