Jeff Stone Loses State Race

Jeff Stone and Anon

UPDATE – June 9, 2010

I’m happy to report that crooked politician Jeff Stone is made of fail.

State Assemblyman Joel Anderson, of Alpine, topped a field of four candidates for the Republican nomination in the 36th State Senate District.

The seat includes southwest Riverside County and among the challengers was Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone.

With all 617 precincts reporting, according to the Secretary of State’s website, Anderson received 28,453 votes, or 40 percent of the total votes cast. Stone was second with 21,243 votes, or 30 percent, followed by Kenneth C. Dickson with 14,132 and Greg Stephens with 6,678 votes.

Anonymous celebrates at Why We Protest.

UPDATE – June 1, 2010

A taxpayer advocacy group has filed two complaints against Jeff Stone for violations of campaign finance and conflict of interest laws.

Taxpayers Advocate President Scott Barnett stated, “there appears to be a pattern of ethical violations when it comes to Jeff Stone and he seems to think that the rules do not apply to him, just everyone else.”

ORIGINAL POST:

Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone is running to be the next State Senator in California in the 36th district.  Unfortunately, I live a couple miles outside of the area, in the 39th district.  Otherwise I’d running against him and warning the voters of the state about what a corrupt politician Jeff Stone has proven to be.

In this video, Julie Waltz talks about a blatant lie on Stone’s campaign website.  He claims he brought a protest ordinance into being because of concerns over possible protests at a Mormon church over their attack on gay marriage.  The only problem is that Mr. Stone very publicly went out of his way when he introduced the protest ban to say it was needed because Anonymous was attacking Scientology.  Here’s Julie calling out Stone on that lie.

And as a reminder, here’s a great video showing how Stone changed his story over time as more and more people called him out for being Scientology’s stooge.

This is a perfect example of how corruption spreads.

Co$, a totally corrupt organisation has managed to corrode the politics of LA by turning a politician into their shill. It seems that everyone within LA is now in the position of having Scientology-drafted laws restricting their rights under the US constitution.

Good luck in stopping Stone. I don’t see that anyone who has seen these videos can vote for him with a clean conscience.

  2. Tequila says:

I still have a problem with Jeff Stone calling me (as I am a critic of scientology and do not use my real name…therefore ANONYMOUS) a terrorist or comparing me with the KKK.

This guy obviously is lax in the area of research and will do whatever his larger donors ask of him…rather than what is just for the people of Riverside.

Sacramento is messed up enough. I don’t want him adding to that. I guess he is ready for even bigger donations.

  3. Horatio says:

Just watched the video, it’s awful that this was passed. Such a blatant case of Black PR, To be told that I am racist, intolerant and in a group similar to the KKK proves he didn’t do any research outside the booklet he was given. The idea that this man could become a senator frightens me. Here’s hoping they don’t let the liar win.

  4. Robert Biasotti says:

My God. Huey Long meets Tammany Hall.

Southern California, the best politicians that money can buy.

  5. klausMachiavelli says:

Co$ is spreading like wildfire. This is surely the beginning of another attempt at infiltrating the government. Good luck in stopping him.

  6. Leannekera says:

Mark you did an amazing job towards the end of this video, thank you.

  7. Amy says:

Let’s not forget the ultimate Scientology stooge, Sheriff Lee Baca. How on Earth a law enforcement official can join a criminal cult is beyond me.

  8. Human Warnings says:

The ghost of L ron hubbard visited me last night, through a oui ja board. I’m serious. He told me that Scientology was a lie.

  9. Allitur, God of Ethics says:

In the words of John Adams, slightly paraphrased: Wise men must take office or the unwise will instead.

  10. Bert says:

I’m inspired by the courage of all that spoke up. Having received by first legal threat from Scienctology, I’m re-doubling my efforts to crush this criminal cult!

  11. Robert Biasotti says:

Wow! I just watched the second vid.

You are an expert orator, Mark. What was your specialty in college: extemporaneous, impromptu or debate? I’m guessing debate, along with a solid A in Critical Thought.

Thank you for standing up for what is right and honorable. Thank you for the class and courage you showed while doing it.

I hope that you sent a copy of these vids to “Sherrif Joe”, and another to the Australian Senate Inquiry.

  12. Knight of Anonymous says:

Stone must be Stopped. He is a tyrant. He is Scientology’s ape. They made a monkey out of him and the last thing California need is an L. Ron dupe.
I hope his fail is Epic. What a piece of crap Stone is.
    Let’s Sing:
    Mr. Stone is a Loser.
Kristy was funnier as a Boozer.
Mr. Stone you are a piece gold painted Lead.
On the matter of Scientology you seem not use your head.
People see you as a freedom hater
    and a bull baiter.
    Your career is doomed.
    Your end has loomed.
Scientology will screw up your life.
You will not believe the Sea Org is full of strife.
    You will lose.
When you fail, I’ll bring the Booze.

  13. Scam Shamalam says:

I don’t think Jeff Stone should be called the Scientology Stooge. That title should go to Paul Howard, son of Moe.

In the 50′s the Three Stooges, very sharp imbeciles indeed, did a TV commercial where they warned of quack medicine which featured a device that looked sort of like an e-meter. That didn’t stop Moe’s son Paul from becoming a willing victim of the cult years later. At a Stooge Convention in Philadelphia Paul spoke of the therapy he had been receiving because of his traumatic childhood. He never once mentioned Scientology by name and neither did I.

So I would like Jeff Stone to be a Scientology toadie, Scientology pawn, Scientology puppet or Scientology lackey but I would like Paul Howard to be the one and only Scientology Stooge.

  14. Jim says:

You will glad to know that, in Nevada, the Scientology connection is hurting the Tea Party’s candidate, who was seeking to defeat the Republican front runner.

  15. Robert Biasotti says:

    Dear KOA,

    I’ll bring the munchies!

    Dear Scam,

    Insightful information. Thanks.

  16. Robert Biasotti says:

    Dear “klausMachiavelli”

I wouldn’t be too sure about the Co$ spreading like wildfire. Take a look at these:

“Active” ORGS – Where Are 8 Million Scientologists Hiding?

    CLOSED IDEAL ORGS:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2AgvhphnOE

I think that the “church” and its current leadership are about to implode. This may be why the M&M gang are stepping-up their attacks on DM, while they ignore the Australian, Italian, and Belgian investigations, and refuse to acknowledge anything about the CA Human Trafficking Suit. They just keep pandering to the freezoners, building their own personal power base. They are positioning themselves for the “end game”, where they can step in as LRH’s “White Knights” and rescue the tech.

It just might work, but I wouldn’t bet on it. I think that the hard core of this criminal organization is coming down HARD. I hope, when that happens, that we don’t all get self-satisfied and declare Total Victory. I would like to look forward to the day M&M and their Sea Ogre friends are welcomed to the House of Many Doors for their personal complicities in the death of Lisa McPerson, and its cover-up, and for their myriad other crimes against Human Rights and Human Dignity.

I may well be incorrect in my observations, but I expect the Kool Aid course to be served soon.

  17. Rob says:

This has to be the most amazingly obvious $cientology shill I’ve ever seen in my life. Someone needs to take all of his claims and re-add the much needed context to it.

  18. Nugsy says:

The media is needed here to call him out and expose all his lies to the public

  19. Rob says:

Word of caution: WWP redirects to Religious Freedom Watch at the moment.

  20. Rusty says:

Thanks for the heads up. But would that not mean that whoever is attacking WWP would now be attacking RFW, since the traffic is redirected? You know, like that time 4chan DDoS’d itself? And that time 420chan DDoS’d itself? And that time…

More on topic: I know this is already a press release, but do you think it’d be a good idea to personally forward it along to local media in the district? If so, anyone wanna hook this thread up with some contacts?

  21. wannabeclear says:

As a Jewish American, I’d like to give Jeff Stone back. We don’t want him…

  22. gerryphilly53 says:

    @ Robert Biasotti

I agree with your analysis – it seems clear that the CO$ is being subjected to scrutiny from a number of sources and may very well not be able to withstand the sunlight. As regards M & M, if they have themselves committed offenses, they should be held accountable. If not, they should be free to follow their truly held beliefs (as screwy and counter-productive as they are) so long as they do not use them to control and limit the freedom of others. If, however, in their practice they do attempt to recreate the evils that appear to be inherent in Scientology from its foundation, they should be exposed and opposed.

  23. Rusty says:

The press release concludes with him hoping the FPPC (Fair Political Practice Commission) fines Stone heavily. Hopefully this has already caught their attention. But in case you’d want to confirm that they know what’s up, Mark, you could always contact them as a member of the media and request a comment :-)

“Media inquiries and requests should be directed to our press line at 1-916-322-7761. Also, see the Press Center on our web site.”

To everyone else not involved in the media, there’s plenty of contact info on their website:

  24. Jim says:

Google “People Liking People: Person of the Day: Jeff Stone”–pretty much says it all.

  25. marcehole says:

Hahahahahahahahahaha! I have been following this story for a couple years (it seems that long… :-) . Poor Jeff… can’t take a fukn ‘joke’… what what a sucker! He has been ungracefully back-pedaling ever since he was unwittingly (perhaps) coerced into bulldozing that ordinance into Riverside county.

  26. Knight of Anonymous says:

There’s this video on you tube that has a song appropriate for marcehole’s post. The song is called: If you can’t take a Joke.
If you can’t take a joke,
    so f-k you…
    (partial lyrics)

  27. Knight of Anonymous says:

Those are actual lyrics of the song. It describes Mr. Stone and Scientology.

  28. Robert Biasotti says:

    @ gerryphilly53,
I agree totally. M&M’s (and everyone else’s) rights to believe as they choose are, and should be, unchallenged. If they want to believe in Xenu, or LRH Tech, or the Toothfairy, it is their RIGHT. However, their rights to act upon those beliefs END where any other person’s chin begins.

  29. Crispin says:

If he really does think that Scientology is a hate group, why don’t we fund and make our own ad that shows Scientologists acting violent and irrational against us? There’s plenty of video footage out there of this happening.

  30. Jim says:

    Jeff sank like a Stone!

    Angle, however, won in Nevada.

  31. Jim says:

Mark, isn’t this alliance between Co$ and the TEA party a little odd? On healthcare, the TEA party yelled “govt. should not make medical decisions” but Co$ (with their help) sponsors legislation that bans kids from taking drugs they may need (ie the govt. would be taking decisions regarding certain drugs away from them if this law passed).

BTW, a person ALWAYS has the right to refuse medication for religious reasons, but should not impose this view on others.

  32. Knight of Anonymous says:

Scientology: turns innocent people into arrogant duche bags.

Critical Thinking: turns ignorant people wise.

The “Tech:” turns intelligent people into Idiots.

    Think about it.

  33. Robert Biasotti says:

    @ Jim,

“BTW, a person ALWAYS has the right to refuse medication for religious reasons, but should not impose this view on others.”

EXCELLENT POINT! Perfectly stated. (As was the preceeding paragraph.)

  34. Robert Biasotti says:

    @ Jim,

    Who is Angle?

  35. Jim says:

Robert, see the separate article on Sharron Angle.

  36. marcehole says:

@Robert Biasotti : hahahahaha! Thanks for the links to those packed orgs and missions. The Halifax one at the end of part 2 is especially ‘cool’. I know the director of that one… as I think I said before, a very nice lady… her and her husband have spent a fortune on their ‘bridge’, went clear then got declared un-clear and got fed the whole New Age of Knowledge crap, back and forth between Clearwater, Toronto, the Freewinds boat. My sister, also a nice lady is all mixed up into that fukn scam too with them… just can’t seem to wake up and realize that they are victims… psychologically and financially raped.

  37. RighteousJusticeanon says:

    Dear Mr Stone,
If you r gonna be corrupt, you have to be clever about it like the other politicians, unfortunately you didn’t have the minerals (see the film ‘Snatch’ for the quote). Good luck with the road sweeping…

  38. Xenumania says:

There were a lot of people who put out information to the public about Jeff Stone and his relationship to CoS and the riverside county ordinance against protesting. I don’t know if it paid off or not, but I am just glad he did not win.

Jeff Stone should have done his homework before allowing the CoS cult to use him as a tool.
