Leaked IAS Video

Get out your checkbooks.  David Miscavige wants you to make a donation to Scientology.

Here’s the video they show while they’re shaking down members.  It shows lots of impressive things that the IAS is supposedly doing.  You know, they’re spreading human rights to everyone on the planet — except those under the control of Scientology.  Yes, you too can have human rights — unless you’re on staff or in the Sea Org.  Then it’s rice and beans and off to the RPF for you.

And as a bonus to you, dear viewer,  Jason Beghe provided the narration for this video.  Just one of many videos Scientology now has to re-do.

    Comedy gold.

    Thanks again for your work.

  2. Mike says:

I kept expecting Jason B to drop the f-bombs. Unfortunately he’s disappointingly professional and sticks to the script.

  3. mbm says:

shouldn’t you send this to Beghe? he should be pissed that they’re still using him like that…

  4. XENU TV says:

I let him know. I think this is probably not a new tape. Just the first time I’ve seen it leaked.

  5. WIldbank says:

Even though I painted the art for their book cover ‘The Way to Happiness”, my experience with their organization was not a happy one. I have witnessed many human rights violations during my experiences with that organization. Staff and families experience humiliation, suffering, and abuse (mental and physical) within, myself included. Slowly, class action is emerging to put an end to their abuse and masquerade posing as human rights crusade.

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows who Mike Garde of the Dialogue Ireland Trust is?

I was told by someone who saw, first hand, the way he acts and i thought any irish people who visit here should know. He was recently at a school in Dublin trying to get the school to let him give a lecture to the students about other religions. He said tons of stuff that, when i was told, just sounded odd. He started off by saying he was anti-scientology and anti-religion fairly early in his speech. But as he continued he mentioned weird stuff about infiltrations of mosques and how the children in the school should never be allowed to visit it. By this time the teacher he was giving this speech to seemed fairly freaked out.

But what’s really sparked my suspicion about this guy is what happened later. He had pushed on the date that he would visit and given some dvd’s and brochures to the teacher. But when he demanded 150 euros to give the lecture and was told that all speakers who visit the school come as a voluntary act and the school didn’t have that much money in their budget for it, he started to get in her face and spark off all this bullshit about how she and the school was against him then started questioning the teacher about her religion and that of the other teachers and administration in the school. He left irate saying that he’d be in contact with the school’s administration.

I follow all of the anti-scientology news here so the way i heard it, it really sounded like $ci tactics. Act all nice but when an obstacle comes up, act like a total dick and practically threaten a teacher.

I might be wrong however the person who told me this said that the teacher he was irate at was the third or fourth teacher in that school that he had gone up to. They apparently couldn’t get rid of the guy until he spoke to that fourth teacher.

Hillarious, since there are probably less than 50,000 Scientologists in the world. LOL! Scientology isn’t even a damn church, it’s a science fiction story by l. ron hubbard. you see that, but not until OT3, by then it is too late because you are brainwashed, cult style. Human rights, what a joke. The cult of scientology and human rights = oxymoron. It is sickening that because l. ron hubbard was rejected by psychologists (they didn’t want to support his book, because everything in it had already been done before and l. ron just reworded stuff), that he acted like a spoiled child and went on a personal vengence crusade against psychology. He did the same thing against the navy in a way, all because they didn’t want him back in, he got a ship and called it flag and dressed his cult members in navy uniforms. all the while, he was taking tons of presciption meds, but he forbid his members to. nice guy, that hubbard.

  8. I feel uplifted lol

These videos clearly illustrate an organization that is bombastic in it’s pronouncements and deluded in it’s importance.

If you watch carefully you’ll notice that none of the imagery or visuals proves Scientology’s claims – it is simply a series of small gatherings at largely under utilized orgs and one medium sized audience at a IAS event which brings members in from as many areas as possible.

Also, it is amusing and revealing that Scientology would consider their tax-exempt status as, quote, their “greatest triumph” – certainly to Miscavige and the money-hungry minions flanking him it is.

Cults, particularly this one, constantly refer to statistics to back up their claims, statistics that cannot be verified by independent sources. Former members, some of whom worked directly on such matters have publicly admitted that Scientology consistently “cooks the books” when it comes to the math.

If Scientology would allow independent verification of all this seemingly impressive data the numbers would be decidedly lower and the entire Hollywood-style production values of these videos exposed for what they are – the make-believe world of an increasingly isolated and paranoid group of people.

They are right about one thing– Something can be done about it!

  11. Christine says:

All those people carrying all the flags must have been rather tired. They certainly got around and around and around. I wonder if there’s a tech for proper flag carrying/waving.

  12. jason beghe says:

    misty, water-colored memories….

    scattered pictures

can it be that it was all so simple then?

  13. ReggyGDI says:

Play that to Jeff Stone and see what he thinks. HA HA.

  14. Julius says:

Larry Brennan once posted a great old-timey video of the creation of IAS. As he pointed out the IAS was created for the sole purpose of hiding money off-shore to prevent having to pay it out for refunds and unsuccessful lawsuits pay outs.

  15. acute says:

i did not even waste time watching the video. i will not watch it. i have already made up my mind. i pray for the day that this cult finally goes down. how can i join anonymous?.

  17. Rorschach says:

Does anyone else get freakin’ disgusted?

  18. Nonapologist says:

    Yes.

  19. BLiP says:

Wow – that video is deeply creepy. Perhaps because I have never been involved with the cult, and with no disrespect to those offended by the video, I have been able to extract a cynical chuckle from the dark humour and stark hypocrisy of the concluding statement:

With your dedication as a member of the IAS you can help ensure the future of Scientology and create a saner world.

I guess: if you’re gonna tell a lie, tell a big one. Wonder why the video reminded of that quote?

  20. Neteret says:

How can they possibly think they can take on psychiatry and win? And champion of human rights? One thing about $cientology, they are always good for a laugh.

  21. marcehole says:

These promotional videos are masterpieces in their own right, if only you can truly isolate it from its ‘investors’. The talent which has been ‘EXPLOITED’ to pull this off is here among us. As an ex-scientologist, I feel that one of the true crimes of Co$ is the way that truth is exploited. Pretty much most BS is readily dispensed with by almost everyone…. but when you take a bit of truth, and then EXPLOIT it… whoa!…

    you are already a member.

  23. Ualtam says:

PLEASE, please remember they, CoS, are very very covert, they can lie, cheat, steal and yes murder in the name of CoS. Some web sites that appear to be anti-scientology, are them, collecting data.

  24. Astrid says:

“Triumph of the Thetan Will,” except propaganda crapsterpiece instead of masterpiece.

  25. guitarhero says:

thank you scilons….”germany the heartland of intolerance”…i dont normally say something like that but:
ihr seid eine verdammte faschistische mörderische organisation und ihr könnt uns mal dermaßen am arsch lecken, viel spaß wenn ihr untergeht.

thank you mark for finding and presenting these videos, and sorry again for saying what i said before…
    greetings from germany

  26. Robert Biasotti says:

I just watched this. All that I could think of was Leni Riefenstahl. (Bless you, Astrid). It is indeed “comedy gold” to those of us with functioning brains, PS.
I just hope we all remember that mad dogs and despots are at their most dangerous when their backs are to the wall. At that point, “rules of engagement” do not exist for them. It is entirely about their survival, at ANY cost to their foes or their friends, since they recognize neither.
We have seen only the preliminaries. The real battle is yet to come.

  27. Artoo45 says:

As fully delusional as any propaganda film from North Korea or the Soviet Union. That they have actually accomplished nothing but the renovation of a few buildings is the pathetic truth. They lost the Time lawsuit. Their members have fled. Their orgs are empty. Epic Fail.

  28. Interesting how Scientology hypes itself.

When they say things like “We are thriving and growing and changing the world”; on the one hand, it does make them look impressive, but on the other hand, they throw away their credibility.

I guess it’s the same way with bragging: it DOES get you attention, but it also makes you look bad.

I guess it’s the same way with Tommy Davis’ argument tactics: he wins every argument, but he looks like a stupid jerk.

  29. Elron Hokum says:

“i did not even waste time watching the video. i will not watch it. i have already made up my mind. i pray for the day that this cult finally goes down. how can i join anonymous?”

Um, *why* have you already made up your mind?

Not that I’m for Scientology, but I urge you to read just as much as you can from the “Church”. Educate yourself about what they stand for, what their policies are, and what they do to their Staff and the Sea Org.

THEN when you understand the nature of Scientology, you will be much more effective at educating the public about the dangers of Scientology. And that’s really the basic requirement: get people out if possible, but it’s much more effective to keep people from ever joining in the first place. Do that, and the cult will starve te death.

  30. Elron Hokum says:

Oh, and after educating yourself, get on whyweprotest.net and look up protests in your area. There’s no “Anonymous” to “join”-it’s just a bunch of like-minded people using the internet to coordinate individual efforts. you want to be a part of it? Get busy and be a part of it.

  31. Stevie o says:

…..flogging a dead horse!!!?? …you better believe it ! both vids remind me of the pioneering work of Dr,J,Goebbels….from the mid thirties….onto the early forties…the musical cadences ,uplifting crescendos….and of course the vague but very subtly directed innuendos and accusations along with the generalisations of !!Suppressive forces??{who could they be??}….I often ask myself regarding the “unique “and singularly “special “agreement reached with the IRS and exemption from investigation from Interpol!!….how much dirt must they have had to achieve both these immoral deals…of course strictly following Hubbards corrupt teachings and techniques to achieve their ways …in one word DISGUSTING !as D,M then said “the war is over !!” NOT !!

  32. Michel jean says:

    Hi Mark,
by the way, did you know that right below the tags “Tags: IAS, Jason Beghe”, there is a google ads banner?
And did you know that the banner was advertising for Rael?
    http://www.rael.org.

I think that this is creepy- Raelians are even worse than scientologists…
Please get your act together. I like the site, but this is clearly screwed up.

Is dat some dead agenting I see?

  34. Rockyj says:

Totally whacked, how this cult gets away with spewing lies and people actually believe in it is beyond me. Its like a egotistic cancer on society. Everyone needs to stop referring to Scientology as a religion, in any of their discussions, blogs, comments, etc., because its not it’s a money making power hungry sick cult that destroys peoples lives. Its very ironic that the cult is named “Scientology” when its against science! Basically, forbidding their cult followers from using proven science to help them physically and mentally if they suffer from a real disease!
    What a joke!

  35. Rockyj says:

“Some web sites that appear to be anti-scientology, are them, collecting data.”

Could you name these web sites so people will know to avoid them?

  36. Rockyj says:

“Is dat some dead agenting I see?” I wondered about too.
